Regular Season Round 14: Igokea - Mornar 101-97

No shocking result in a game in Aleksandrovac where sixth ranked BosnianIgokea (9-6) won against bottom-ranked Montenegrin Mornar (1-14) 101-97 on Monday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Igokea made 29-of-32 free shots (90.6 percent) during the game, while Mornar only scored eleven points from the stripe. Igokea looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Terrell Carter II (208-1996, college: Fresno St.) who scored 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The other American import point guard Bryce Jones (183-1994, college: Murray St.) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Croatian swingman Lovre Runjic (197-2000) produced 20 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals and American guard Chico Carter Jr (190-2000, college: DePaul) added 20 points and 7 assists respectively for the guests. Four Mornar players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Defending Bosnian champion moved-up to fifth place. Mornar lost eighth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost.
